[.Sweet Escape.]

We're back! We had an amazing time! Friday we did get stuck in a lot of traffic so it took 3 hours longer than usual, but we didn't get mad-we had a fun car ride as well. We stopped @ a diner & once we finally got to the hotel we walked around a little bit & got something to eat there as well. Walking distance was the Main St which was a happening place. Saturday was our main day of events. Our hotel was right @ the Harbor so we went to the Coffee Cafe for breakfast & walked a long the pier, took a Harbor Cruise which visited all the hot spots such as Martha's Vineyard, Kennedy Compound, Lighthouses, etc. That was really sweet because everyone stayed on the top deck & we went down stairs so other than the guy who came down to tie the ropes (and take a few quick pictures) it was totally private & no one else in sight. We still heard the whole tour on the loud speakers, so it was fun! We went back to the hotel to shower & get changed to head over to Memorial Park to meet with the lady who was renewing our vows. I am really glad we did that. She did the whole ceremony (ring exchange and all) Steve & I read a poem to each other..we also giggled a little everytime she would say "Partna" (The "Boston" accient way) We got some great pictures & walked a long the beach enjoying a beautiful day & the beautiful life we have together. We had an early dinner @ the Lobster Boat which I can say hands down was the best meal EVER! We enjoyed every bit of it. We then drove around seeing the Potato Chip Factory & just to see what was around. The whole trip wasn't just about sight seeing but also to relax, reconnect, and just spend time together to do anything & everything we wanted. So we did some of the old stuff we used to enjoy, going to Cape Cod's mall & got to see Ironman 2 which I knew Steve really wanted to see. I got 2 new outfits for Bean since I had a 30% off coupon @ Baby Gap & really liked what I saw. The movie was good, we were still so full from earlier. Our hotel also had a stone fire pit which we enjoyed @ night & on Saturday night it was packed because there was a whole wedding party staying there-Bride & all. We went to the bar the hotel has & it was soo cool. The bar was a chalk board so we played Tic Tac Toe & wrote each other sweet messages. Finally after a busy day we went back to our hotel & watched a movie. Sunday was a little bit of a bummer because we had plans to meet with Steve's dad (who he has seen now three times in total) so we decided not to go to the Zooquarium because we didn't want to get home late & just as we were getting to his dad's exit he called & said he was "sick" & going to bed. This upset Steve & I felt horrible. Some of the reason we picked Cape Cod to begin with was so we could visit his dad & it was just a lame excuse. So we had two hours built in our schedule for that so we could have went to the museum after all but instead we got some awesome & really different Sushi & enjoyed the ride home. Again, another great weather day-ssoo happy with that! When we were just about home we finished off the trip with "a cherry on top!" (got ice cream)

Was very happy to see my Noah Bean & was so proud to hear how great he was. No real cries the whole time, stayed happy, playful, and went to bed for Grandma & Grandpa no problem!

I am happier than ever & now its really getting close to Noah's First Birthday! Today we went to Kohl's & picked out my shirt for his party & got his friend Anthony a present for his party next week. I also saw Geri earlier this week @ Play Group where we made rainsticks. Ok, time to catch up on some shows & Noah is napping. Steve also had an early day & is home. Probably didn't remember everything but this will do for now!
