[Happy Birthday Dear, Noah!.]

My sweet boy is napping. We have been hotel bound since Sunday & he is adjusting well. He loves his new booster seat which has come in handy this trip. This morning he had his first English Muffin. Daddy is on his way home & we're going to head over to the mall & go out to eat. The room has a fridge & microwave so we stocked up on lunch meats & other easy made meals. Noah & I have been walking up & down the hallways with his walker & he is standing on his own for longer & longer. As of now it seems like it may not be the nicest day on Jun 6 the day of his party but it is too soon to tell, it has already changed since yesterday. Can't really update too much now since its time to get ready to put him in his Birthday outfit and watch my Bean try sweets for his first time. Pics to follow!

Ok, I'm back. We went out to eat, Noah tried grilled cheese for first time & liked it. He had a taste of ketchup & did not like it @ all! We took him over to te mall to go on a couple of rides & got him a cookie cake. He went to town with it & we didn't have to help him get messy..though @ the end daddy decided to make a "Noah Sandwich!" He went right in the bath & to bed shortly after. Talked to my Aunt & cousin for awhile, they are very excited about the party & said they have been buying nautical chatski's for their backyard lol. Today starts Day 1 of my 365 pictures, but I don't think I want to make a whole new blog for it..at least until I get home.which I am trying to figure out when that will be.

[.Noah's 2 Step!.]

NOAH TOOK HIS FIRST STEPS!! I came home last night after a long day & we been letting him go to stand on his own for a few seconds & last night he just went for it! Mommy is so proud & is determined to get a video tonight once Dad gets home. In other news, just when I was at my happiest a wrench was thrown into the mix. Vader, Sara's 3.5 year old Doxie very unexpectally had to be put down the other day after rupturing a disc & becoming paralyzed. I can only imagine the void Sara, Phil, & Connor must be feeling because I know how much it bothers me. I went to Sara's yesterday to keep her busy & I went over to his grave & said my goodbyes, shed some tears, and made us much peace as I could with the situation. I regret the times I would push him off of me & wish I paid more attention to him last time I was there. He & I became close a few years ago when I stayed there for a few days even when no one else was home. Anyway, we managed to have a nice day @ the park, shopping, had frozen hot chocolate for the first time. I had no luck finding a new suit but Sara gave be one of hers. To my rescue as always! Grey's was insane last night & this Sunday is the last episode of Lost, I just don't know if we will be here to see it. They asked Steve to go to Boston for 2 weeks & I think I am going to go with him for some of the time. Stinks, because we had a neighbor party planned for Memorial Day Weekend & now it is postponed. But, it can also be fun. Maybe we can even go back to Cape Cod & take Noah to the Zooquarium for his First Birthday! Not sure how it is all going to play out yet, but the dogs will stay @ Alissa's kennel & she has a laptop she can loan me. Maybe if it is warm enough I can try again to bring Noah in the pool. We'll see. How crazy is that though when we JUST left there now a week later are going back!? Different area so that's cool.

[.Sweet Escape.]

We're back! We had an amazing time! Friday we did get stuck in a lot of traffic so it took 3 hours longer than usual, but we didn't get mad-we had a fun car ride as well. We stopped @ a diner & once we finally got to the hotel we walked around a little bit & got something to eat there as well. Walking distance was the Main St which was a happening place. Saturday was our main day of events. Our hotel was right @ the Harbor so we went to the Coffee Cafe for breakfast & walked a long the pier, took a Harbor Cruise which visited all the hot spots such as Martha's Vineyard, Kennedy Compound, Lighthouses, etc. That was really sweet because everyone stayed on the top deck & we went down stairs so other than the guy who came down to tie the ropes (and take a few quick pictures) it was totally private & no one else in sight. We still heard the whole tour on the loud speakers, so it was fun! We went back to the hotel to shower & get changed to head over to Memorial Park to meet with the lady who was renewing our vows. I am really glad we did that. She did the whole ceremony (ring exchange and all) Steve & I read a poem to each other..we also giggled a little everytime she would say "Partna" (The "Boston" accient way) We got some great pictures & walked a long the beach enjoying a beautiful day & the beautiful life we have together. We had an early dinner @ the Lobster Boat which I can say hands down was the best meal EVER! We enjoyed every bit of it. We then drove around seeing the Potato Chip Factory & just to see what was around. The whole trip wasn't just about sight seeing but also to relax, reconnect, and just spend time together to do anything & everything we wanted. So we did some of the old stuff we used to enjoy, going to Cape Cod's mall & got to see Ironman 2 which I knew Steve really wanted to see. I got 2 new outfits for Bean since I had a 30% off coupon @ Baby Gap & really liked what I saw. The movie was good, we were still so full from earlier. Our hotel also had a stone fire pit which we enjoyed @ night & on Saturday night it was packed because there was a whole wedding party staying there-Bride & all. We went to the bar the hotel has & it was soo cool. The bar was a chalk board so we played Tic Tac Toe & wrote each other sweet messages. Finally after a busy day we went back to our hotel & watched a movie. Sunday was a little bit of a bummer because we had plans to meet with Steve's dad (who he has seen now three times in total) so we decided not to go to the Zooquarium because we didn't want to get home late & just as we were getting to his dad's exit he called & said he was "sick" & going to bed. This upset Steve & I felt horrible. Some of the reason we picked Cape Cod to begin with was so we could visit his dad & it was just a lame excuse. So we had two hours built in our schedule for that so we could have went to the museum after all but instead we got some awesome & really different Sushi & enjoyed the ride home. Again, another great weather day-ssoo happy with that! When we were just about home we finished off the trip with "a cherry on top!" (got ice cream)

Was very happy to see my Noah Bean & was so proud to hear how great he was. No real cries the whole time, stayed happy, playful, and went to bed for Grandma & Grandpa no problem!

I am happier than ever & now its really getting close to Noah's First Birthday! Today we went to Kohl's & picked out my shirt for his party & got his friend Anthony a present for his party next week. I also saw Geri earlier this week @ Play Group where we made rainsticks. Ok, time to catch up on some shows & Noah is napping. Steve also had an early day & is home. Probably didn't remember everything but this will do for now!

[.First Mother's Day!.]

All I can say is WOW, I had such a nice weekend! For starters Friday, Sara, Geri & myself went to Liquid for great food & a Martini. I really love that place & am excited to try even more on the menu! We had good conversation flow & it actually wasn't all about our little ones, though I know we were all anxious to get home to them! Today I did Noah's First Birthday Pictures & met up with my mom, grandma & sister. He did SO good & it is my favorite outcome thus far, love them all! He was a champ letting me change him 3 times, I usually don't do all of that. The photographer liked all my ideas & called others in to show them how I had the word "ONE" written out & was asking if they could have something like that, also loved the clothes line-who knows maybe they will even hang it up in the studio! Hehe. Anyway, my grandma treated Noah for 2 really cute outfits & my mom got me the Picture Club Package since they were buying photos for themselves. After we went out to eat, my dad sent her with money to treat all of us. I got a shirt & 2 pairs of flip flops @ Old Navy. We made a Mother's Day Flower Pot Craft & got 2 really sweet cards from Steve & Noah as well as coming home to the lawn being mowed, leaves raked & dinner ready to be cooked. The biggest surprise was that Steve & Noah got me a whole new bedding set that I really was in love with. I am very excited about it, huge change! I am soooo tired right now so that is it..lots of cute pictures coming your way! Next time I write will probably be to tell you how our Romantic Getaway was! <3.

[.5 Years.]

Today is our 5 Year Wedding Anniversary. Every year we watch our video & every year we cry like babies. Steve is off the whole weekend & the next time he will be off will be for Cape Cod. I am very excited. When I wake up I plan to go to the food store & make him Oatmeal Cookie Pancakes with Homemade Whip Cream for Breakfast in Bed. Luckily, I know our lil man will sleep through it so it can be private & quiet! We are not doing much because we want to save everything for our trip so like I said making breakfast & I think I will try a new recipe for dinner-Cajun Shrimp Pasta. I think we are setting up the pool & new play set from my Grandma. I am glad she sent it to the house because it would've been way too hard for her to get to my Aunt's or for us to fit in car to get back here. Noah's friend Tyler will come over & play too. The neighbor's have been anxious to see the kitchen. The other day I went to Sara's for some errands, hang out time & Sushi. Dispite my allergies, it was still a nice time & she did a great job with the pancakes I requested so lets see if I can pull it off myself. I got these great oversized mugs to go on top of the cabinets & I think it totally completes the look I wanted. Maybe I will do another update later on today to let you know how the rest of the day goes. We also plan to watch Alice in Wonderland.
